AIA applauds Administration's issuance of revisions to Category XV of the U.S. Munitions List that will end excessive restrictions on space systems, such as commercial satellites. After 6 month delayed implementation, interim final rule will remove many less sensitive technologies from USML and place them under more appropriate controls of Commerce Control List. Revision, together with re-authorization of Export-Import Bank by Congress, would dramatically level global market playing field. This story is related to the following:Trade Associations
