AIT Engineer SCOS mf The Mission This multi satellite mission is entering the prelaunch phase, with many critical test activities. The Challenge We seek an assembly, integration and test AIT engineer having background with the SCOS2000 spacecraft checkout system or equivalent to be part of the AIT team for our customer in Bremen. The typical tasksresponsibilities will include Management of the test stand planning, organization and monitoring Test requirement engineering Test case definition Generation of test procedures Coding and validation of scripts for automation of testing with SCOS 2000 scripting TCLTK Test report generation Postintegration functional checkout Associated quality assurance tasks, e.g. with regard to key inspection points, nonconformance reports, discrepancy notifications, etc. This is a fulltime position, with work starting in July 2014 or as soon as possible. Your Qualifications Applicants shall have a university degree, preferably in aerospace, electronics or physics or other suitable qualification together with some professional experience in spacecraft andor operational applications. Essential skills are Three or more years experience with system engineering in the space domain, ideally including a significant portion during the test and integration AIT phases of a satellite project In depth knowledge of the SCOS 2000 spacecraft checkout System or equivalent Experience managing satellite electrical ground support equipment English fluency spoken and written, both in formal and informal situations Proven ability to operate effectively in a multinational team Desirable skills are Experience with navigation satellites Knowledge of spacecraft power, thermal and data handling subsystems Spacecraft system or subsystem design experience Familiarity with the Telelogic Doors tracking package and the Rational DQNRQM Extensive experience in working with international partners Terma offers At Terma, we consider skilled employees, enthusiasm and job satisfaction as the very foundation of our success and as a prerequisite for the development of the bestinclass solutions that Terma provides.
