It employs some 40,000 employees, generating revenues of approximately 14 billion per year. A vacancy for an AIT RF Testing Engineer mf has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse. You will join the RF Optical Chain Engineering department within the AIT Testing workshop and perform the process planning and followup for the functional tests, payload systems and Telemetry, Command and Ranging TCR subsystems for telecommunication satellites. In this context, you will perform the following main activities Interfacing with a TCR architect and payload validation team, Analysing the design of the payload and the TCR subsystems, Understanding the validation needs, Defining the measuring methods and techniques, Defining the testing means, Drafting test reports, procedures and drawings, Scheduling and coordinating the test preparation activities, Following up on and supporting the tests. This role will involve business trips to Portsmouth to coordinate activities with AIT UK as well as 15 days at the launch site as such you must be able to travel accordingly. You will also be required to take part in oncall duty within the group, in support of clean room operations occasional duty on nights and weekends. As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following competencies Engineering degree or university equivalent, ideally with a specialisation in hyperfrequency, 3 years of experience in RF engineering, General knowledge of the field of hyperfrequency and RF techniques antennas, receivers, transmitters, transmission modulation, links budgets and measurements, Basic knowledge of RF measurement bench architecture hyperfrequency measurement instruments, test performance HMI, etc., Initial experience with designingtesting operations for payload or TCR subsystems would be highly appreciated, Technically meticulous, Communication skills and persuasive, Ability to comply with test deadlines and cost constraints, Ability to summarise, Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team, Team coordination skills, Advanced level of English and intermediate level of French.
