Position Reference 1045 The principal task of the AIV engineering service team is to perform the AIV engineering activities foreseen for the integration, validation and verification of the specific EOmission satellites system, coordinated by the EUMETSAT Technical Officer. You will have the opportunity to provide engineering expertise to the AIV Engineering Service Team, based in our clients premises in Darmstadt Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Test Specifications Preparation. Test Results Analysis. Non Test Based Verification. AIV Strategy Definition. AIV Scheduling. Contribute to acceptance of the satellite System facilities. Deliver the Test Specifications for the satellites System, focusing mainly on Data Processing DP and satellite Monitoring and Control MC aspects. Deliver the Test Results Analysis reports. Deliver the Non Test Based Verification reports. AIV Strategy Definition, including VCDs. AIV Scheduling. Acceptance of the satellites System facilities. Generation of tests specifications for the satellites System AIV. Generation of test results analysis reports. Generation of non test based verification reports. Interaction with the satellites System Team for the procurement of test data identified in the test specifications, including the analysis of received deliverables and attending acceptance tests. Identification and development of additional tools to generate adhoc test data or to analyse the test results. Contribute to the acceptance of the facilities before their integration in the satellite System. Contribute to maintain the AIV schedule in coordination with the AIV Engineering Responsible. Contribute to evolution of the VCD in coordination with the Requirements Verification Team. Contribute, if needed, to the preparation of test procedure, including the automatic test procedures, and execution of tests in coordination with the Tests Preparation and Execution Team. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in the domain of engineering, physics, or equivalent. A direct involvement in AIV activities for Monitoring and Control of Earth Observation Systems, including generation of test specifications, specification and procurement development of test tools and data. Proven background with the development of System andor Ground Segments for Earth Observation. Experience in the analysis and reporting of verification results versus associated requirements. Familiarity with the ECSS standards. Familiarity with IBM DOORs. Good knowledge of Python, CC, Java, bash scripting or any higher programming language. Experience with software specification, design and development, including relevant standards. Experience in the use andor development of software frameworks, use of automating tools for system deployment, testing and configuration. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to synthesise complex issues. Ability to plan and implement activities, prioritising according to constraints, interdependencies and opportunities. Experience in writing formal technical documentation. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
