Take advantage of this exciting opportunity for an AIX System Engineer to join our team based at our clients site in one of Europes largest Space organisations. The key candidate shall become part of the Computer Systems Management team providing support to all Ground Segment Commissioning and Routine Operations. The successful candidate requires proven knowledgehandson experience in each of the following areas Operating systems AIX 6.17.1 and IBM virtualisation, including Micropartitioning Administration and configuration of IBM pSeries using HMC and AMM IT system and design skills Definition, implementation, testing and documentation of endtoend system changes Preparation of technical documentation in English in a complete and clear manner Experience with Distributed File System GPFS, high availability software IBM power HA, PowerVC, VMWare Virtualisation and experience with the monitoring tools based on Nagios is not essential but would be considered advantageous. The working language for this position is English, therefore candidates must be fluent in this language, both spoken and written. All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK
