Advanced Micro Devices' bottom line changed from black to red on Thursday when the company posted a loss after two straight quarters of profits. The company reported a net loss of $20 million, or a loss of $0.03 per share, for the first fiscal quarter of 2014, an improvement from a loss of $146 million in the first quarter of the previous year.
