Job Description For our customer, ESAESTEC, we are seeking an experienced AOCS Engineer, to work at ESTEC in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Responsibilities The specific tasks will be Support the AOCS hardware sensorsactuators procurement in ESA satellite programmes as well as contribute to AOCS hardware and technology development and laboratory activites in the frame of RD contracts. Provide technical support to ESA projects in design, development, and verification of AOCS for Earth Observation, Scientific, Navigation or Telecom projects, including participation to reviews and performing analysissimulation. This is a full time position located at ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands The requested start of work is June 2016 Qualifications Competencies Specific Competence Requirements University degree MSc in Control Systems or Aerospace Engineering as wel as experience in these fields. At least 6 years of proven experience in the design, tuning, analysis and simulation of AOCS systems in different project phases. HW knowledge sensors, computer, actuators. AOCS AIT at subsystem and system level. Proven knowledge of commercial modelbased design tools MATLAB Ability to interface with industry. The candidate shall be able to operate in a team environment, and shall have good interpersonal, reporting and communication skills and a proactive attitude to solving problems. What can Terma Offer?
