AS&E cuts workforce by 10%

American Science and Engineering Inc. said it has reduced its workforce by 10 percent after determining it would post a net loss for the quarter that ended Tuesday. In a press release, AS&E officials said the job cuts, as well as "additional targeted cost reductions to further reduce operating expenses," are being made due to "continued global volatility impacting its markets."
