ASE breaks ground for new plants in Southern Taiwan

Advanced Semiconductor Engineering , the biggest computer chip packaging and testing firm in the world, broke ground yesterday for new facilities in Southern Taiwan that will offer 3,500 jobs and create US$530 million in annual revenues when completed.
