Dipak J. Negandhi received ASTM International Award of Merit and accompanying title of fellow from Committee F26 on Food Service Equipment for his outstanding leadership, commitment, and respected technical expertise. ASTM member since 1991, Negandhi served as chairman of Committee F26 from 2006–2012. Several food equipment industry standards overseen and contributed to by Negandhi during his tenure serve as foundation for utility-based energy-efficiency programs.
