R. Douglas Hooton, Ph.D., tenured professor in Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Toronto, Ontario, received Frank E. Richart Award for his meritorious contributions to ASTM International Committee C09 on Concrete and Concrete Aggregates. ASTM International member since 1981, Hooton is honorary member of both C09 and Committee C01 on Cement. He also chairs Subcommittees C01.29 on Sulfate Resistance and C09.67 on Resistance to the Environment.
