Paul D. Roman, ASTM member since 1984 and executive director of the New Jersey EMT Registry in Shrewsbury, NJ, received ASTM International Award of Merit and accompanying title of fellow from Committee F30 on Emergency Medical Services. This honor was in recognition of Roman's leadership and expertise in development of national consensus standards covering equipment, training, personnel, and communications in emergency medical services sector.
