ASTM International Engine Coolants Committee Honors Fred Alverson with Award of Merit

Fred C. Alverson, principal engineer at Shell Global Solutions, Houston, TX, received ASTM International Award of Merit and accompanying title of fellow for his contributions to Committee D15 on Engine Coolants and Related Fluids, which he joined in 2002. Currently, Alverson serves as D15 recording secretary and also chairs Subcommittee D15.21 on Extended Life Coolants. He also works on several D15 subcommittees and, outside ASTM International, is member of SAE International. This story is related to the following:Trade Associations
