Thomas L. Smith, president of TLSmith Consulting Inc. in Rockton, IL, has received Carl G. Cash Award from ASTM International Committee D08 on Roofing and Waterproofing. Award recognizes outstanding contributions to building envelope technology through research conducted in either laboratory or field. A member of ASTM International since 1988, Smith serves on multiple D08 subcommittees and also works on Committee C17 on Fiber-Reinforced Cement Products.
