Frank Liebmann, radiation thermometry engineer at Fluke Calibration in American Fork, UT, has received the R.D. Thompson Award for his work on ASTM International Committee E20 on Temperature Measurement. A member of ASTM International since 2008, Liebmann was cited for his dedication to the development of temperature measurement standards and his ongoing contributions to the committee, which include his service as chairman of Subcommittee E20.02 on Radiation Thermometry.
