Robert T. Shannon, radioanalytical consultant at Quality Radioanalytical Support LLC, has received Max Hecht Award for his outstanding service to Committee D19 on Water. A member of ASTM since 2000, Shannon has received three Standards Development Awards from Committee D19 during his tenure, and also serves on ASTM Committee C26 on Nuclear Fuel Cycle. Shannon has supported government and independent commercial testing laboratory needs as a radiochemist for more than 20 years.
