ASX closes lower on weak energy stocks

The S&P/ASX 200 index fell 47 points, or by 0.9 per cent, to 5232.9 on Monday. Australian shares started the week in the red following last week's impressive rally, with energy stocks leading the way down amid broad profit taking.
