AT&T Pulls Back on Fiber to 100 U.S. Cities Over Net Neutrality Fight
2014-11-16 22:59:49| Telecom - Topix.net
While the FCC, President Obama and other officials figure out what net neutrality road to take, AT&T says it will stop spending on fiber network installs in 100 U.S. cities until the rules are set. AT&T, which announced in April that it would begin expanding its latest high-speed fiber networks to 100 U.S. cities, now says that recent government indecision over net neutrality has caused the company to suspend its fiber projects and spending until the net neutrality rules are decided.
