AT&T to analysts: Here's how the DirecTV acquisition boosts bottom-line

AT&T updated analysts Wednesday, telling them to expect revenue, free cash flow and earnings to increase as the company continues to integrate DirecTV as well as move to becoming a software-oriented company. "We think we stand alone today in offering every customer segment," CEO Randall Stephenson said during an analyst meeting in Dallas on Wednesday, referring to AT&T's wireless, Internet and entertainment offerings.
