(Telecompaper) AT&T announced a new offer bundling TV and mobile services. From 10 August, customers can sign up for HD and DVR service for up to four TV receivers, unlimited talk and text for four mobile lines and 10GB of shareable data for USD 200 per month. This is one of the first new offers since the operator completed the acquisition of DirecTV. As part of the launch, new DirecTV subscribers will have access to programming on their mobile devices from the moment they sign up, without waiting for home installation. AT&T representatives will help customers set up the mobile TV app at the over 2,000 AT&T retail stores now selling DirecTV services. The TV plans start at USD 50 per month for DirecTV Select or U-verse U-Family and go up to USD 125 for DirecTV Premiere or U-verse U-450 for USD 125. The offer of four mobile lines with 10 GB shared data costs USD 160 per month and comes with a USD 10 discount with any TV plan. Additionally, DirecTV and U-Verse TV customers who switch to AT&T mobile service from another mobile provider will receive a USD 300 bill credit when they buy a smartphone on the AT&T Next plan and trade in an eligible smartphone. AT&T also announced pricing for broadband service with TV. Broadband starts at USD 30 per month for up to 6 Mbps on a 12-month contract and goes up to USD 50 for service at up to 45 or 75 Mbps.
