Start date and duration Position starting as soon as feasible on a one year contract. Client and Location For one of our Clients, we are currently recruiting for an ATMP Air Traffic Management Portal Software Engineer for their location in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Our Client is an intergovernmental organisation with 41 Members and 2 Comprehensive Agreement States. They are committed to building, together with their partners, a Single European Sky that will deliver the Air Traffic Management ATM performance required for the twentyfirst century and beyond. With more than 1,900 highly qualified professionals spread over four European countries, deploying their expertise to address ATM challenges. Their expertise is unrivalled covering both operational and technical elements advising on both civil and military aspects of ATM and having experience at bringing States with different needs together for a common goal. Tasks and Responsibilities The candidate will be required to develop and test ATMP Air Traffic Management Portal software modules and produce related documentation design, coding, testing, software maintenance in collaboration with the ATS Air Traffic ServicesACE ATM CostEffectiveness team members. The task will require collaboration with other teams involved. The domains that the Software Engineers will cover are multiple in particular tasks are expected to include the following activities Analyse specification and system design documents Analyse existing software source code for possible reuse Develop and produce new software modules. This includes design, coding, testing, and related documentation Design performant, userfriendly and attractive web user interfaces Participate in peer source code reviews Analyse reported problems and propose solutions. Adapt source code accordingly Analyse potential emerging change requests and propose solutions. Adapt documentation, source code and test accordingly Weekly reporting to the Project Team Execute all tasks in accordance with governing quality, safety and security requirements and procedures. Experience and Education Higher technical education in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent professional knowledge At least 5 years experience as a full stack developer in Web services and Data management in a service oriented architecture with proficiency in java and JavaScript At least 3 years experience with Angular and Spring frameworks At least 3 years experience with unit testing and integration testing Experience with security standards like OWASP Experience with SQL, PLSQL and accessing databases from Java Experience with Active MQ Experience in producing clear and concise software design and test documentation. Good oral and written communication skills in English Ability to identify, analyse and solve problems, and to present key issues and recommended solutions in a clear, structured and concise way Cooperates and works well in a team.
