AU Optronics Corp. , one of Taiwan's flat panel makers, said Saturday that it has been recycling about 90 percent of the water used in its production process as it tries to deal with the water rationing measures introduced amid a drought in Taiwan. AUO said it has installed a water inter-use system that recycles about 90 percent of the water used in its production of panels and is expected to cut its water usage by 13 million tons a year.
