AbbVie hikes forecast, tops Street expectations

The drugmaker AbbVie surprised Wall Street on Friday with a third-quarter performance that turned out much better than expected and a new 2014 forecast that also extends well beyond what analysts predict. The maker of the Chrohn's disease treatment Humira raised its guidance for the second time this year.
