RSS-X series is used to measure variations in compressive stress and load, allowing stress evaluation when material's modulus of elasticity is unknown or anisotropic and inhomogeneous. Compression of metal body, which consists of resin and protected housing arranged in concrete or iron braid of reinforcement, is measured with ultrasonic pulse-echo method.
