Combining laser resonator and control electronics in single housing, Explorer One 349-120 delivers pulse energy of greater than 120 µJ at 1 kHz repetition rate with pulse width of less than 5 ns, while Explorer One 355-300 delivers more than 300 mW output power at 50 kHz repetition rate with pulse width less than 8 ns. Units have low pulse energy noise of less than 2% and 3%, respectively. Weighing less than 1.5 kg, DPSS lasers are suited for micromachining and bioinstrumentation applications.
