As alternative to metal brackets, brackets made of electrostatically dissipative VICTREX PEEK-ESD™ polymer are suitable for use in hydraulic and fuel brackets for wings, center box, and fuel tanks of aircraft. Such brackets are specified in Bombardier's C-Series, Global, and Learjet aircraft. Able to withstand harsh environments, including aggressive aerospace fluids, VICTREX PEEK meets such aerospace engineering requirements as stiffness, coefficient of friction, and wear resistance.
