JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities Duties Tasks You will be part of our team, full of talent and desire to innovate, where you willsupport ESA Space Safety Programme in the area of CleanSpace. Typical tasks will include Contribute to the management of workplan and other SD CS industrial activities Support the organisation, preparation, and closeout of reviews Identify, document and process software change requests SCRs related to delivered and existing software Participate in the acceptance process, clearing final deliveries and installation of software in collaboration with ICT Provide support for the development and definition of plans Support outreach activities in the CS area Support development, review and management of Environmental LifeCycle Assessment database for Space Participate to review of system and mission level Environmental LifeCycle Assessment for Space in support of user programmes Implement activities to improve the knowledge and develop specific methods to evaluate the environmental impact of space activities Implement and contribute to ecodesign technology developments for space applications Provide engineering support to the development of a deorbit kit Coordinate and implement technology activities to support the preparation of satellites for servicing and Design for Removal Provide engineering and coordination support to technology activities in the relevant areas to comply with Space Debris Mitigation requirements. Implement and provide engineering support to technology developments in key areas for servicer systems in support active debris removal and inorbit servicing, e.g. robotics, gnc, sensors. Provide engineering and coordination support to the definition of Close Proximity Operations requirements. Workplace ESOC Qualifications Minimum Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline Required knowledge Fluent in English C1 or higher Space engineering Spacecraft subsystems Participation in international industry contracts.
