Affordable housing project lands in San Francisco's North Beach

A 75-unit affordable housing project has opened in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood after the non-profit developer spent about five years finding financing. Affordable developer Chinatown Community Development Center financed the $38 million project at 255 Broadway from a mix of 10 public and private sources, highlighting the challenge and complexity of building affordable housing.
