Air Travelers Aren't Getting a Break From Lower Oil Prices

International oil prices have fallen more than 40% since mid-June as global supplies have piled up amid a production boom and weakening demand overseas. Yet U.S. airfares rose at a healthy 5% clip between July and September after a 7.6% rise in the prior three-month period, according to the Commerce Department's quarterly report on travel and tourism spending released Thursday.
