Aerial, Landing, and Takeoff Aircraft Crash Avoidance System (ALTACAS) employs LIDAR radar, remote sensing technology, GPS tracking technology, and sensor-activated lightings along runways to prevent collisions during climbs, mid-flights, and descents. Automated systems provides imagery, distance, speed, and direction of oncoming aircrafts and non-aircrafts vehicles, while simultaneously opening 3-way communication between pilots and air traffic controllers to defuse crisis.
