Used for high-volume production, Universal Drill features rigid, 4-facet point geometry that maximizes centering capability, maintains IT8/9 hole tolerance, and facilitates regrind. Polished AlCrN coating promotes abrasion resistance, toughness, and chip evacuation. Available in 3–20 mm dia in 0.1 mm increments, drill can be used on such materials as steels, stainless steels, and cast irons. Through-tool coolant capability is offered by 5 x D and 3 x D length drills with cylindrical shanks.
