Albemarle plans new catalyst launch

Baton Rouge-based specialty chemical maker Albemarle Corp. will soon release a new catalyst for hydrocracking, a process used to make diesel and jet fuel. Albemarle and partner UOP are in the final stages of pilot plant testing.
