(Telecompaper) Alcatel-Lucent has sold its cyber-security services and solutions business to Thales for an undisclosed amount. The operations sold employ some 100 staff mainly in France and three other European countries. The sale is part of a strategic partnership established by the two companies in May to combine Thales's experience in cyber-security services and Alcatel-Lucent's knowhow in secure networks and advanced security features in its telecom products. The companies will continue to work together in this area under the new ownership structure.
