Alcoa reports steady 2Q results

On Wednesday, the company reported net income of $140 million, or 10 cents per share, which compares to net income of $138 million, or 12 cents per share, in the same period last year. Sales for the quarter were $5.9 billion, up from $5.83 billion in the second quarter of 2014.
