Alder Pump Station Upgrade Project: Construction begins soon

Environmental Services will soon begin construction on improvements to the Alder Pump Station. The city constructed the pump station at SE Water Avenue and SE Alder Street in 1952. During heavy rain storms, stormwater runoff can fill the system to capacity and cause a combined sewer overflow to the Willamette River.
