Allegiant Air jet engine catches fire in Las Vegas passengers evacuated

Lady Luck wasn't shining on Allegiant Air this afternoon Oct. 11 when an engine fire caused a flight from Las Vegas to Fresno to be aborted and passengers evacuated. Apparently, according to eturbonews , there was some confusion when the flight attendant took the microphone and announced that passengers should leave all belongings and get ready to evacuate the plane.
