Amazon.com is bringing in former White House press secretary Jay Carney to head up its public relations and public policy, potentially giving the e-commerce giant added heft in Washington. Carney, 49 years old, will leave his position as a commentator for CNN and take the helm at Amazon on Monday, a spokesman said.
