Amazon thinks its new shopping day will put Black Friday to shame

Amazon is about to turn 20, and to mark the occasion, it's giving Prime members access to a sale event it's billing as bigger than Black Friday. The Prime Day sale , which is being promoted on Amazon's homepage, begins at 12 a.m. PT on July 15 and will push out new deals as quickly as every 10 minutes for 24 hours.
