Amazon to open physical store in NYC

(Telecompaper) Amazon is planning to open a physical story, in New York City, in time for the holiday shopping season, the Wall Street Journal reported. The story will be located at 7 West 34th street, across from the Empire State Building, and will also function as a mini-warehouse with limited inventory. It is likely that other physical stores will follow, according to people familiar with the company's thinking.
