(Telecompaper) Mexican mobile operator America Movil is not planning to sell frequencies or infrastructure to reduce its dominant position in the local market, the operator's CEO Daniel Hajj told a conference call with investors. The executive also said that the telco will analyse the new configuration of the Mexican telecoms market with the entry of US telco AT&T with the announced acquisitions of local operators Iusacell and Nextel. "We're reviewing exactly how the market is going to be in Mexico and then we're going to decide what we're going to sell to reduce our market share in order to avoid being a preponderant player," he said.
