Analysts remain optimistic despite Greenbrier's stock plummet

Stock in Greenbrier Companies, a Lake Oswego-based maker of railcars, continued an extended slide Thursday as shares fell nearly 8 percent. While the day saw market-wide declines amid what the Wall Street Journal called " continued concerns over lackluster global growth ," Greenbrier's rough day punctuated a slide that began last September following a peak price of $75.93.
