RHEA is currently recruiting an Antenna SubMillimetre Waves Engineer to support the Electromagnetics and Space Environment Division at our clients premises in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities Your primary tasks and activities may include Preparing and monitoring Research and Development activities in the field of Antennas. Activity domain will include hardware, software and systems aspects. Providing antenna technical support to ESA projects. Performing inhouse design and tradeoff studies to support both developments and reviews. Analysis and design of reflector antennas and arrays and the calculation of the interference effects between antennas and the spacecraft structure. Handling direct interfaces with the prime activity contractors. Participate in progress meetings and reviews, as requested, and provide appropriate feedback on the achieved progress and discussions. Skills and Experience You must possess the following skills and experience At least 10 years proven industrial experience in the field. Background and expertise covering several of the technical domains described above Knowledge of antenna Space constraints at RF, mechanical, thermal and environmental levels gained from the handling of Flight Model development or RD development at high TRL level. Knowledge of antenna industrial manufacturing and testing processes. Expertise in using antenna modelling tools GRASP8, POS4, CHAMP as a minimum. Knowledge regarding antenna testing. The following skills would be highly desirable. Solid experience in architectures and technologies as applied to aerospace Industrial experience.
