(Telecompaper) Apple paid out a salary of USD 3.06 million to CEO Tim Cook, plus annual cash and non-cash incentives of USD 9.3 million, according to a regulatory filing. The total given to the CEO amounted to just over USD 12.8 million for the company's fiscal year to end September. The amount is a jump from last year's total of just under USD 8.75 million and higher than the USD 10.27 million given in 2015. In addition, Cook earned USD 89.2 million on previously awarded stock options that vested during the year.
