Citigroup analysts today penned a long think-piece on wearable technology, clocking in at 53 pages, the first chapter in what they are billing as a series of reports, in which they take an extremely bullish view, arguing that wearables are not only not a fad, but that in fact, as a tech rather, "It's Forever." The analysts - Oliver Chen , Nancy Hilliker , Jim Suva , Jeremy David , Walter Pritchard , Mark May , Thomas Chauvet , Henry Kim , Kota Ezawa , Kate McShane , and Gregory Badishkanian -see smartwatches alone being worth $10 billion at some point, and ultimately "a wearables market including sport fitness bands, watches, and apparel could be $30bn."
