(Telecompaper) Apple has confirmed it will hold an event on 16 October, TechCrunch reported. The manufacturer is expected to unveil its new iPads and Macs, as well as launch the public version of OS X Yosemite, the latest update to its desktop operating system. The event will take place at Apple's own Town Hall theater in Cupertino, at its corporate headquarters.
