Reviewers have had two common criticisms of Apple Watch since it launched in April: apps are slow and don't always perform very well, and it's a bit expensive for a watch that still requires you to keep your phone nearby. In June, Apple announced that it's addressing those two points among other things with its watchOS 2 software update for the Apple Watch, which is launching next month in September.
