2019-10-14 09:34:00| Telecompaper Headlines
(Telecompaper) Apple has launched its own internal studio, headed by Apple Worldwide Video chiefs Zack Van Amburg and Jamie Erlicht, Hollywood Reporter reported. The studio, still unnamed, will make content specifically for Apple, starting with "Masters of the Air", a follow up to the World War II series by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. The first two dramas in the series were from HBO: "Band of Brothers" and "The Pacific." The new series will see the return of Spielberg and Hanks as executive producers.
