(Telecompaper) Apple has sent out invitations to media for an event on 10 September at its headquarters in Cupertino, California. According to numerous reports, the company is expected to unveil the latest version of the iPhone at the event, thought to be called the iPhone 5S. This could also include the launch of a new low-end model of the smartphone, with the rumoured name iPhone 5C, aimed at building the company's share in emerging markets. Chinese media reported that Apple is also planning a press event on 11 September in Beijing, where the new phone could be unveiled.
