Archos ends deal with Vietnam's Vingroup, reports sharply lower H1

(Telecompaper) French mobile device maker Archos said that its agreement with VinSmart, announced in April, will not be going through. This means the company will not be issuing any shares to VinSmart and that the collaboration between the two companies, for the production and distribution of electronic products, will be terminated. Archos was informed on 23 July by VinSmart that certain conditions around the deal could not be fulfilled.
