Are plans for Whole Foods in Shaw running into a roadblock?

The North Shaw neighborhood could lose its Whole Foods Market before it even gets it if the D.C. Council doesn't act to approve the development. Developers MRP Realty and Ellis Development won the right to develop the District-owned parcel at 965 Florida Ave. back in 2013, but the D.C. Council has yet to approve the disposition of the property.
